Simon Waring is a PhD candidate at the Royal Military College of Canada, whose research focuses include German-Soviet operations on the Second World War鈥檚 Eastern Front, U.S. Cold War history, Canadian defence and foreign policy, and the theory, history, and practical application of strategy. Simon is the author of Defeat at the Dnepr: The XLVIII.
