    Set in a single day in Amsterdam, Nina Siegal鈥檚 The Anatomy Lesson weaves together the stories behind Rembrandt鈥檚 famous group portrait of 1632. Well-researched and thoughtful, it envisions Rembrandt鈥檚 artistic process, the relationship between portraitist and sitter, and the vibrant world of 17th-century Amsterdam in beautiful prose. Join Bader Curator and Researcher of European Art Jacquelyn N. Coutr茅 to discuss the book in The Bader Gallery, in front of our three Rembrandts and surrounded by the compelling portraits of Singular Figures: Portraits and Character Studies in Northern Baroque Painting.
