Dr. Williams is a health researcher and occupational therapist focused on improving the health and well-being of military and public safety connected populations. She received the Wounded Warriors Canada Doctoral Research Award in 2019 for her work on health service access during military-to-civilian transition. She is a post-doctoral fellow at the Child Trauma Research Centre at the University of Regina and is leading the development of PSP Youth & Kids (PSPYK), a new resource to support the well-being of children
and youth growing up in Canadian public safety families.
