    A new version of the »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ Events Calendar will launch Wednesday, August 26. All events dated September 1, 2024 and later will be migrated. As part of this process, additions to the current calendar will be suspended at 3:00 p.m. on August 25.

    Description:

    Instructors play a key role in the accommodations process and in offering accessible teaching and learning spaces. In this session, we will explore the differences between accessibility, accommodations, and extenuating circumstances, and how instructors can best support students. We will also talk about roles and responsibilities of faculty & students, as well as considerations for providing accessible education.

    Session Description:

    This workshop series invites Queen’s teaching community to explore and develop their teaching practices through a variety of topics. Providing the building blocks for inclusive and effective teaching, these workshops include theoretical grounding and practical strategies.
