The Vast unfinished business of the Writing Block: a psychoanalytic contribution to to understanding writing anxieties and inhibitions in the University.
This lecture discusses the writing block as opening a particular emotional configuration that gives way to fantasies of relationality as the writer feels called upon to be original, worries about plagiarism, write the the ideal paper, experience anxieties over the paper鈥檚 reception, and wish for a perfect meaning.
