    Grab your lunch and get ready for Bite-Sized CPD!

    Bite-Sized CPD is a new monthly series that offers brief and focused online sessions on a variety of trending topics in healthcare. We will be exploring topics such as the long-term effects of COVID-19, care of veterans, health impact around climate change, cannabis use disorder and vaping, choosing wisely in hematology, and gender diversity in healthcare.

    Session 1:  Long COVID: Treating the Complications from non-ICU COVID Patients 
    Wednesday January 18th, 2022 - 12:30pm-1:30pm (EST)

    Speaker: Angela Cheung, MD, PhD, FRCPC, CCD, Professor, KY and Betty Ho Chair in Integrative Medicine, University of Toronto; Senior Scientist, Internal Medicine Specialist, University Health Network

    At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

    1. Discuss criteria and diagnosis of Long COVID and Post-COVID complications
    2. Assess patients who had COVID and still have symptoms
    3. Access and integrate updated guidelines and best practices for managing their symptoms and health
