    Male Sexual Trauma: The Essentials

    (120 minutes formal presentation, 30 mins. Q&A if needed, staff presentation)

     Presented by Rick Goodwin, Men & Healing, Ottawa

    This seminar will focus on what helping professionals at Queen’s need to know about one of the hidden epidemics of our time:  the sexual abuse/assault of males.   We will examine elements of masculinity along with recent research on the issues.    The process of recovery will be discussed and the role of the counselling will also be discussed.   The session will close with a screening of the documentary The Bristlecone Project.
