Join us for an Observatory Open House on Saturday January 10th at 6:30pm in Ellis Hall Auditorium at »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
This month we are excited to feature Dr. Danielle Simkus, Research Projects Advisor at »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ and former Science Team Member for NASA’s OSIRIS REx mission. Dr. Simkus will be presenting "The Building Blocks of Life Beyond Earth."
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Queen’s Observatory where visitors will have the chance to view the planets and/or other celestial objects with our telescopes. The tour will also include a visit to the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
