    Description:

What can we learn about wellbeing from the land?

Join us for a unique virtual session with Jacob Murray, co-owner of Topsy Farms on Amherst Island, as he shares insights from nearly four decades of experience in sustainable farming, wool production, and land stewardship.Through storytelling and lived experience, Jacob will explore the connection between wellbeing, nature, and animals, highlighting how time spent outdoors, engaging with natural environments, and reconnecting with the land can support both mental and physical health.

Participants will also learn about Topsy Farms' initiatives, including forest walking trails, rewilding efforts, and the “Connect to the Land” approach, which encourages individuals to slow down, build awareness, and develop a more meaningful relationship with the natural world. Concepts such as proforestation, supporting forests to grow and regenerate naturally, will offer a practical lens on environmental sustainability and long-term ecological wellbeing.
