    Description:

Edward George, writer, broadcaster, and founding member of The Black Audio Film Collective, will be joining us at Queen’s for a week of exciting events exploring the politics of diasporic sound and image. We will be presenting a Q&A and screening of the collective’s seldom seen feature film from 1991, Who Needs A Heart, a hybridized meditation on the social impact of controversial British-Trinidadian activist Michael X. George will be giving a live presentation of his lauded Strangeness of Dub series of sonic essays as well as providing a glimpse into his upcoming curatorial project for the Aby Warburg Institue, Black Atlas, which activates images from the Menil Archive.
