    A new version of the »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ Events Calendar will launch Wednesday, August 26. All events dated September 1, 2024 and later will be migrated. As part of this process, additions to the current calendar will be suspended at 3:00 p.m. on August 25.

    This two part learning session lead by Nathan Splinter, Manager, Energy and Sustainability at Queen’s, will provide attendees an overview of what greenhouse gases are, their measurement and influences. We will also cover how they are generated, the targets and plans that exists, and how projects at the university along with individual decisions and actions in your daily life can influence the rate of climate change around us and the policies governing it’s mitigation.

    The second session will focus on the projects and actions that »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ has taken and is planning to take to address our carbon footprint. Additionally, the session will cover topics for what we, as individuals, can do to live a lower carbon life and some of the investments, buying decisions we can make to have a larger influence on the environment.
