    Kanata College responds to Canada鈥檚 challenges issued in the 2008 Apology and the TRC鈥檚 鈥淐all To Action鈥� by
    creating a project that:
    鈥� Improves the potential for People of Indigenous Ancestry to improve wellbeing through healing and wellness
    practices using Indigenous Knowledge (IK) in corrections and justice;
    鈥� Creates partnerships and network linkages that inventories existing research and new healing practices that
    focus on local problems identified by communities related to their geographic and social environments;
    鈥� Produces a prototype model that helps local practitioners recover Indigenous persons involved with
    correctional services;
    鈥� Produces a prototype model that can be used by Indigenous people continent-wide.

    The presentation titled 鈥淜anata College鈥� itemizes the long road to build consensus among diverse interests.
