Dr. Kullervo Hynynen, MSc, PhD - Senior Scientist, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre / Professor, Department of Medical Biophysics, University of Toronto
"Healing the Brain with Ultrasound"
Dr. Hynynen will show you how sound waves under image-guidance can be used to perform brain surgery and other brain treatments without opening the skin. These treatments will revolutionize how the brain will be treated in the future and offer hope for patients suffering from brain tumours, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
