    Contraception Update: New OCP and Nexplanon

    Presented by: Ashley Waddington, MD, FRCSC, MPA, Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Queen鈥檚 University
                           Yuyang Wang, MD Contraception Advice Research and Education (CARE) Fellow, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Queen鈥檚 University.

    At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

    1.  Counsel patients on nexplanon as a contraceptive option
    2. Assess the potential risks and benefits of the new combined hormone contraceptive pill
