With the launch of »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ Global Engagement Strategic Plan (2023-2028), our institution is committed to helping all students develop the skills, competencies, and habits of mind needed to make a positive difference in the world through global learning experiences. To mobilize this goal, educators across disciplines are invited to begin and continue to imagine approaches to global learning beyond exchange programs that move students to a different country and culture by expanding virtual and local opportunities that are more accessible and sustainable.

Join the CTL for a conversation about virtual exchange, more specifically collaborative online international learning (COIL), as a critical pedagogy for global learning. In our time together, we will explore the ‘what’, ‘why’, and ‘how’ of COIL collaboratively and reflect on the opportunity to create virtual exchange in one’s course.
