    A new version of the »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ Events Calendar will launch Wednesday, August 26. All events dated September 1, 2024 and later will be migrated. As part of this process, additions to the current calendar will be suspended at 3:00 p.m. on August 25.

    Description:

    Join us for the opening of a new exhibit, Dying to Read: Arsenic in the 19th Century, on October 30th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections in Douglas Library. 

    Explore the fascinating history of arsenic in 19th-century books and stereoscopic cards and its impact on readers and collectors. 

    The event will feature brief opening remarks, followed by light refreshments.
