    Description:

Gardens 4 Joy is hosting an outdoor photography exhibition, Savouring Nature, in the garden beds area behind Nicol Hall on Thursday, October 9th, 2025.

The exhibition will be on display from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting, with the date subject to change.

The »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ community is invited to visit this exhibition, which will showcase nature-based photography featuring works exclusively from the three garden beds (and the portable one) behind Nicol Hall, near the stairway, managed by Gardens 4 Joy. This is a drop-in opportunity, not a structured session. Registration is encouraged but not necessary.

Would you like to display your photos in this one-of-a-kind exhibit?

If so, please send 2 to 3 portrait-oriented high-resolution photos with your name watermarked in the bottom-left corner of each image to Maha Al Makhamreh via email at 12mam17@queensu.ca by September 28th for consideration.

Participants whose photos are approved by the organizers will be required to print their selected photo in 12 × 18 inches and submit it by October 3rd, 2025. All photos will be returned to the participants following the exhibition.

Location: The New Garden Beds behind Nicol Hall (3 garden beds by the edge of the walk path)

This event is organized and facilitated by Gardens 4 Joy (www.gardens4joy.ca), an initiative that aims to help foster the wellbeing of the Queen’s community through gardening.
