Queen's Observatory Open House: Science Literacy Week

Join us for a special Observatory Open House on Saturday October 11th at 7:00pm in Ellis Hall Auditorium at »ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
This month, in collaboration with the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute, we are looking forward to feature Prof. Nahee Park. Prof. Park will be giving a special public lecture as a part of Science Literacy Week on "Probing the Extreme Environments in our Universe through the Great Ice Sheet at the South Pole."
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Queen’s Observatory where visitors will have the chance to view the planets and/or other celestial objects with our telescopes. The tour will also include also include tours of to the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute and Carbon to Metal Coating Institute's research labs.
