Title: Let’s Talk »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ GenAI: The development of a survey and workshop to discuss GenAI comfort
by: Lydia Scholle-Cotton, Cheryl Lee-Yow, Emily Luo
This presentation provides an overview of the ongoing development and implementation of the genAIdentity survey and workshop series, designed to explore educators’ evolving identities and comfort with generative AI (genAI). Originally created as part of a design challenge, the project has since advanced into a structured survey and workshop model that encourages participants to reflect on and discuss their comfort with genAI. While initially tailored for pre-service teachers, the instrument and workshop have been adapted for use across a wide range of educators. This session will share early findings from the survey and workshops, as well as provide an opportunity to engage with the latest version of the survey.
