GIS Day & watch party in Stauffer Library
1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Join us in person for a special GIS Day Viewing Party in the Map and Air Photo Collection (Stauffer Library Lower Level) on Wednesday, November 19, from 1 – 4:30 pm.
Drop in, watch live sessions, explore geospatial resources, and connect with others interested in maps, data, and digital exploration. Plus treats and button making! Everyone is welcome, and no prior GIS experience is required.
From Monday, November 17 to Thursday, November 20, students, researchers, community members, and industry professionals from across Canada will come together to explore the impact of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) on our world. This free, interactive online event will feature presentations, tutorials, demonstrations, a map gallery, and virtual networking opportunities, offering participants the chance to learn from leaders in geospatial technology and connect with peers from coast to coast.
