    Join us for the latest Department of Geography and Planning Seminar Series: Impacts of Permafrost Thaw on Indigenous Cultures, Practices, and Livelihoods, with Dr. Yifeng Wang.

    Dr. Yifeng Wang is a Research Scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario. Yifeng’s research investigates the response of permafrost to climate warming and ecosystem change, as well as the impacts of permafrost thaw on communities, infrastructure, and important habitat. Yifeng obtained her PhD from the Department of Geography and Planning in 2024 and is looking forward to returning to Queen’s University for this seminar!

    This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and members of the public.
