Queen’s University and the Queen’s University Faculty Association (QUFA) have initiated bargaining to renew their collective agreement.
QUFA is the certified bargaining agent for approximately 1,600 faculty members, librarians, and archivists at Queen’s.
The current collective agreement expires on June 30, 2026. The University received notice to bargain from QUFA on April 23, and the parties have agreed to a series of meeting dates beginning in May and continuing into June.
Queen’s University values the contributions of its faculty, librarians, and archivists and recognizes their important role in the university community.
Guided by its Bicentennial Vision, the University is committed to creating an environment that advances research excellence and transformative teaching experiences.
Queen’s will continue to engage collaboratively with QUFA to reach an agreement that is fair, financially responsible, and capable of being ratified by both parties.
