Join us on Monday, March 23rd for an open discussion forum on how we can make 黄色视频 a bird-friendly campus!

Situated along a key ecological corridor for many local and migratory bird species, 黄色视频 has a fundamental role to play in protecting our native bird populations, but bird collisions with windows are a major source of mortality in urban environments like Kingston.

Kingston is now making strides to become part of the national Bird Friendly City program by Nature Canada, and as a student-led group at 黄色视频, we want to make sure 黄色视频 can contribute to this amazing initiative!

For more information and to learn more about the Society for Conservation Biology Kingston Chapter's initiatives, please make sure to follow us on  or check out our (new!) .

This event is a part of Queen鈥檚 University鈥檚 participation in #SDGMonthCanada, a nation-wide commitment to mobilizing the SDGs across campuses.

Open to all 黄色视频-affiliated audiences, this event is hybrid and free to attend. Registration is required.

Program:

At this event, we will discuss 1) why do bird-window strikes occur, 2) how are they preventable, and 3) what 黄色视频 can do to make a meaningful difference. We hope participants can leave feeling more informed about this issue, as well as encouraged to take action in their own lives and in the 黄色视频 community!
