Four Directions will be hosting the 3rd annual inclusive clothing swap for all Indigenous students, staff and faculty! A clothing swap is a free clothing “market” with clothing items sorted by size and colour .  Grab a tote bag, peruse, and take what you like!

When: February 24th, 1:00-8:00pm

Where: 144 Barrie St, large study room

Clothing Swap FAQ!

What items to donate?:

Your freshly laundered, good condition clothing and accessories of all sizes, colours and styles!

Do I need to donate to participate?

Donations are not required to participate, but this is a great time to peruse your closet and try and find a new home for things you no longer wear/use!

When/where do I drop off donations?

All members of the Queen’s community are welcome to bring donations to 4D, or to Yellow House (207 Stuart, 3rd floor). They must be clearly labelled for “4D Clothing Swap”! Drop offs need to be by Thursday February 19th at noon!

Teachings from Turtle Island - In Conversation with Elder Ronnie Moonias

the first event in the new 4D x OII series, Teachings from Turtle Island is at 5:00pm at 4D or on Zoom

We will be welcoming various Elders and Knowledge Keepers from across Turtle Island to give some teachings and virtually connect with »ĆÉ«ĘÓƵ Indigenous students.

Come meet and learn from Elder Alex Moonias, of Neskantaga First Nation.
 
It will be a hybrid event; remote learners welcome! For those in-person, you can also join us at 4D, where there will be homecooked food made by Kim!

Louis Riel Day - Métis Beading Workshop

Fill your basket and grow together with our friends from the Peer Health Educator team.

Join the Peer Health Educators from the Healthy Cooking and Healthy Eating Teams for a hands-on session where you’ll make your own loaded smoothie bowls and dive into the art of meal prepping on a student budget. Learn how to shop smart, eat well, and fuel your body and brain – all while connecting over food and the powerful ways it supports our physical, mental, and social health. 

Draw for participants to win a $25 gift card during each workshop!
