Queen’s University celebrates Spring convocation

Queen’s University will welcome approximately 5,600 graduates from seven faculties during Spring Convocation ceremonies, celebrating the successful completion of their studies and the next chapter in their academic and professional journeys.
The first round of ceremonies will take place May 21-22 in Grant Hall on Queen’s campus.
Convocation is one of the university’s most visible and community-connected events of the year, bringing thousands of graduates, family members, and visitors to Kingston. The celebrations contribute to increased activity for local hotels, restaurants, shops, and downtown businesses, while also highlighting the impact Queen’s graduates will have across a range of fields and disciplines, from health care and life sciences, to business, policy, law, education, the arts, and engineering.
Ceremonies throughout Spring Convocation will also be , with broadcasts beginning 15 minutes before each scheduled ceremony.

What: Media are invited to attend a Spring Convocation ceremony. Faculties awarding degrees include the Faculty of Health Sciences, including graduates from:
- Doctor of Medicine
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
