Queen’s has partnered with the Embassy of Mexico in Canada to establish the Mexico-Canada Research and Learning Hub, aimed at fostering closer ties among Mexican and Canadian researchers, academics, and students. Ambassador of Mexico to Canada Carlos JoaquĂn González and Vice-Provost (Global Engagement) Sandra den Otter formalized the initiative at a signing ceremony on Apr. 1, 2025.

Dr. Leonard Ritter (»ĆÉ«ĘÓƵ Alumnus, PhD Biochemistry, 1977) received the "Princess Chulabhorn Gold Medal Award of Appreciation 2024" from the 9th Princess Chulabhorn International Science Congress, organized by Chulabhorn Research Institute.
The Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP), offered by Global Affairs Canada and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, provides an excellent opportunity to learn Chinese, and/or pursue post-secondary studies or research at leading institutions across China.

In October 2024 Queen’s University relaunched its twice annual Ambassadors’ Forum, bringing together High Commissioners and Ambassadors from nineteen countries across the Asia Pacific with Queen’s experts to facilitate meaningful dialogue on critical issues impacting both Asia and Canada.
