Coordinator, Peer Programs

Gabriela coordinates QSuccess, Peer Mentoring, and the MentorHUB. She has been a formal and informal mentor throughout her life and supporting others to find their strengths is a grounding and rewarding experience for her. She has a curious nature and likes trying new things all the time, whether it鈥檚 a new recipe, a new book, a new idea or a new place to travel.

Coordinator, Student Inclusion & Engagement

Taryn (she/her) oversees the 黄色视频 Shift Project, a collection of initiatives aimed at centering equity-deserving student experiences and contributing to a safer and more inclusive campus culture. In her free time, you can find her coaching soccer, camping, or playing music around Kingston. She loves connecting with students and learning about their 黄色视频 experience. Feel free to reach out!

Laura's (she/her) role is split between SEO communications, website management, office administration, planning/logistical support for programming, and casual staff timekeeping. Laura works part-time, four days a week, and is off on Fridays. She is here to help!

Zo毛 (she/her) supports and develops programming designed to promote a successful transition for incoming students, including the coordination of the Summer Webinar Series and social events. When she's not working, you can find her at the farmer's market, volunteering within the community, and spending time with her friends and family.

Taylor (she/her) is responsible for supporting Promise Scholars, Commitment Scholars, and first-generation students on campus. Her role includes ensuring student success and wellness through individual support and targeted programming. Outside of work, you can find Taylor reading a good book, playing with her niece, or planning her next trip!

Nada (She/her) is the Off-Campus Community (OCC) Student Lead for the Off-Campus Community (OCC). This program supports incoming first-year Off-Campus students by creating and promoting events that foster student engagement within the Off-Campus Community. Nada is pursuing her degree in Applied Economics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and hiking.

Samantha (she/they) is the Shift Project Student Lead. In this role, she develops initiatives inspired by real student experiences at Queen鈥檚 that aim to build allyship, support equity-deserving student groups, and ultimately cultivate a safer, more inclusive environment for all students. Samantha is entering their third year of a Psychology degree with a minor in Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creating visual art, and practicing yoga!

Sydney

Sydney is the Lead, Include, Transform (LIT) Student Lead. In this role, they support the facilitation of the LIT training, which prepares students to become inclusive leaders. The training encourages students to reflect on their positionality and life experiences, recognize the presence of privilege and oppression on campus, and how to engage in activism as a student leader. Sydney is in their third year of Linguistics. In their spare time, Sydney enjoys reading, baking, listening to many kinds of music, and doing sudoku puzzles.
