Simi's Favourite Event
The Black Welcome was my favourite event because it was heartwarming to see Black people from all levels at »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ present and taking up space. The group dance and food were also very lovely.

Axelle's Proud Moment
I originally applied to the YH hoping to become more engaged with other queer students on campus. I haven't been very good at getting involved, and this job has allowed me to meet other queer folks through programming. I've gotten to meet new friends, try new experiences, and get myself out of my house. I am quite introverted, but this job has made me push through that, which I'm grateful for.

Lauren's Fondest Memory
I feel so lucky to have a space where I can show up authentically, as well as be vulnerable, and know that everyone else there is coming with a similar mentality. I can't think of another job where I would get to go to a queer movie screening, do research in archives, make buttons, and go to a drag show at a pool.
