Join the Queen’s alumni community in London for a Canadian tradition with a global impact. Help us celebrate a great Canadian, support cancer research, and welcome recent graduates and alumni who are new to London as we take part in the 2026 London Terry Fox Run in Battersea Park, then relax and connect at a casual alumni social at The Mason’s Arms.
Whether you have just arrived in the city, are looking to expand your local network, or have been part of the London alumni community for years, we hope you’ll join us for the run, the social, or both. As always, friends and family are also welcome to join.
The London Terry Fox Run is free, non-competitive, and open to all. Run, walk or ride between 2.5 and 10 kilometres in honour of Terry Fox and in support of cancer research at The Institute of Cancer Research in the UK. .
You are very welcome to take part in either or both parts of the day.
Run with Team Queen’s at the Terry Fox Run:
Queen’s alumni who register for the Terry Fox Run will meet near the Battersea Park Bandstand before heading to the start together. Runners are encouraged to wear tricolour and »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ gear. Once you've finished your run, you can head over to the Mason's Arms to join the social.
Or skip the run and join the social:
Not interested in running? Come directly to the pub instead! There is no need to participate in the Terry Fox Run to attend the social. The social is an informal opportunity to meet fellow alumni, make new connections and become part of the local Queen’s community — whether you arrived in London last week or have lived here for years.
